Happy Belly Egusin SLH is a complementary feed for horses and ponies with stomach irritations. Due to various causes, the horse's stomach can become irritated. Happy Belly Egusin SLH ensures a normal acid balance in the stomach. The specific (natural) gel components provide a layer on the stomach lining.
Do not feed during the period when mares are pregnant because of fenugreek.
Operating instructions
Provide Happy Belly Egusin SLH to horses that need immediate stomach support. After using 2 buckets (about 4 weeks), you can switch to Happy Belly Egusin 250.
Give 50 grams per 100 kg of body weight per day. Divide the dosage between the morning and evening rations. For example: a 500 kg horse gets 250 grams per day.
Give a maximum of 350 grams per animal per day.

Stomach irritations, also known as Equine Gastric Ulcer Syndrome (EGUS for short), occur when gastric acid is out of balance in the stomach.
With sufficient and good quality roughage, sufficient saliva is produced during chewing. The saliva, food and mucus layer on the inside of the stomach protects the stomach from stomach acid. Due to various causes, the stomach can still become irritated. And this is usually at the site of the transition from the upper part of the stomach to the lower part of the stomach.

The buffering components ensure a normal acid balance in the stomach. The stomach wall is supported in repairing the acting stomach acid. Gastric emptying slows down, which means that stomach contents do not pass through to the intestine as quickly. As a result, the stomach contents also have a buffering effect. At the same time, specific (natural) gel-forming components create a layer on the stomach lining. Egusin also contains SLH components that balance intestinal bacteria, positively supporting digestion.
